Rolling Water Tank

Water scarcity, which is broadly understood as the lack of access to adequate quantities of water for human and environmental uses, is considered to be one of the most important global risks for society. Global water demands are expected to increase in the future because of increasing populations, urbanization, and industrialization. In addition, aspects of climate change and anticipated increases in extreme weather events are expected to contribute to increases in the frequency, severity, and duration of droughts, which can exacerbate water availability problems.

India's drinking water crisis has become severe over the past decade. Increasing demands on available water resources for intensive agricultural practices and industrial use, together with deteriorating water quality, constrain drinking water availability despite massive outlays for drinking water and sanitation infrastructure. Although the government assures that drinking water is available in most rural areas, the quality of that water supply is a problem. They have to bring the water from distant places by making repeated trips everyday to meet their daily needs. Its is a big problem and challenge. Mother India Care has come up with the solution for this problem. Mother India Care is distributing Rolling Water Tanks to rural areas and which is very useful.

A Rolling Water Tank is a round water tank that has been fitted with handles so that it can be rolled along the ground.

Rolling Water Tank is designed keeping its easy handling in mind. It is very easy for women and even children to roll for a distance. It has wide cap which enables easy water pouring and easy cleaning of tank. It also has a unique cap-in-cap design which keeps water clean.

Rolling Water Tank has the capacity to carry 50 litres of water at a time. It is three times more efficient than carrying water on one’s head. Being able to carry this much of water in one go, it also cuts down on the number of trips that need to be taken.

The Rolling Water Tank is made up of high quality and strong materials. It is food grade human-safe high density polyethylene and has a well balanced size. Its shape is designed to increase the performance over tough terrains. It also has handholds which allows for better handling while filling, emptying and also cleaning the Rolling Water Tank.

We want to distribute this Rolling Water Tank to Rural India and expecting public support for this initiative.
